Holy F, 6pm here and its still 102 with a heat index of 117. Wow. Thank God my AC is finally up and working. Unfortunately heat means Ill be working'on standby for the entire weekend. At least I start vacation in less than 7 days.

Heat index here in DC was 117 today too. I'm suffering through a tough train ride where the A/C is not keeping up. Never thought I'd be happy to see 87 degrees on the forecast for Monday!

87 degrees... What a dream. We have had over 23 plus days of 100 degrees here in Dallas. At night, it cools down to a smooth 93-95!

Yeah that's hot. Hate to tell ya you would not like living in south Carolina. We have those temps for about 2 months straight.
We have been having advisories daily about Extreme Heat indexes in excess of 120.

In Charlotte it's finally cooled down a bit. Unfortunately all we had in the fridge was this pink Mike's Hard Lemonade crap. It ruined the taste of my Padrod just now...

Everyone I talk to, across the country is being affected by this heat. The worst is that the humidity seems to be accompanying it, making it that much more unpleasant.

ugh...i feel theyre pain. sweat my ass off above ground then when its time to work it ll be about 120+ underground in our electric vaults/manholes.

Yeah, I shouldn't really complain. I grew up in Illinois & spent a lot of time near Chicago. I'll take a week of 100+ temps over months of snow any day.

We are getting close to over a month and a half of 100+ degree days, not including heat index. Just another summer in Texas.
