I have the .45 USP compact. It's a Nice shooting pistol, very reliable and will probably outlast me.

Any plans on a silencer? I mean it does come threaded to be equipped as such.:riflefire
Not sure if the civilian version comes with the threaded barrel and cannot tell from the picture. Threaded barrels run about $250, and are available from a number of vendors. I think Impact sells them as a package with a Gemtech can. . .assuming you live in a Class III state. . .

You did good, I've shot dozens of diffirent HK's and the only one I didn't care for was the old P7 Squeeze Cocker. If the USP you got is anything like the one's I shot in the service, you'll love it.

I have shot the USP .45 and the .40. Both are sweet pistols. Congrats on the new piece. I myself am in the midst of an internal debate on whether to get a HK USP .40 or a Sig P226 .40. I got the cash, now I just need to make up my mind.

The other nice thing about the .45 USP is that
it's still the only (AFAIK) gun that is ready out of the box for .45 Super. You may never need that info, but hey - nice to have, right?
