  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I recently became friends with this guy as we share common interests and yes one being cigars. So we were sharing smokes chit chatting, he got telling me how he has family in the Europe. Long story short he gave me a cohiba. Which I believe to be a Cohiba Sunglo V. But I have a good feeling this is fake but then again I have zero knowledge on CC's. please help

And no way in hell I would smoke that... just toss it or cut it open to see why you shouldn't smoke a cigar like that.

I have little to no knowledge of CCs as we'll, but just by looking at it, I'm glad you skipped this one! I hope he didn't try to hook you in for a box!

Wow. That picture makes my stomach turn. That and it makes me giggle. One heck of a fake. Thanks for sharing.

Yikes! Yucko on that nasty looking cigar. Glad you didn't smoke it. Shameful how many fakes are out there and how many people think they are buying real ones. My buddies uncle buys "Cohibas" all the time and I haven't seen him smoke a real one yet. I just don't have the heart to tell him that his $40 cigars aren't worth $2.

Cohibas always have 3 rows of squares above the word Cohiba for starters. The bands are also not orange. They're more of a yellow color. Also, triple caps. Always triple caps.

It really is a shame that people scam others as bad as they do. We are just your everyday joe looking to enjoy a fine cigar and in turn we get the boots of the deal.

Probably a dumb question but why are they triple capped?
