All you Pitt fans realize no road team has won game 7 of the Stanley cup finals since 1971.

I'll take those odds over no game 7 this year, every time.

since there is no team around here, and pittsburg F***ED with us in order to get an arena..... i haven't watched any hockey. but, since there was nothing else on last night, i watched the game. wow. NICE!

Come on now a Hockey team in MO would probably end up in worse shape then the Coyote's. Sorry but I doubt you really get enough winter to support a real hockey team:boxing:

i didn't really care that much. we have a brand new bazillion dollar arena that has no anchor tenant. the pens came crawling over a couple of years ago saying they'd LOVE to move to kc. it was just to scare pittsburgh into giving them what they wanted.
the st louis blues have been around a while. not that they've been very good lately!!

Nope tied to those nasty coyotes. Don't worry we don't have a good team right now either. Biggest thing going for Canadian teams at the moment is that no one want to see us lose another team like quebec or winnipeg so we all have great attendance. Plus at least half the countries eats sleeps and bleeds hockey. Hopefully we will get a team in Hamilton next.

Couldn't have happenned to a nicer guy.

I just watched the game last night without any prior knowledge. I was camping in Sequoia far from any news for the previous 4 days. What an amazing game!!! Followed that by watching the Lakers win it all too. I smoked a Monte #4 and a RASS while camping and celebrated the Pens victory with a GOF Don Carlito. It just doesn't get much better than this. I am on cloud 99.

A man in a Billy Guerin t-shirt walks into a bar in Detroit right before Game 7. Among boos and bad looks, He says calmly to the crowd "I guarantee a Pens win." They shrug him off with blind confidence as Wings fans do. Later that night, when the Pens win, a shocked and near tears Wings fan asks the guy how he knew the Pens were gonna win. He smiled and pointed to his t-shirt and said "Hey, it's a Guerin-T..."
