  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What is the closest cigar to the dark ,skinny, tapered clint eastwood type, and where might I be able to purchase a bundle? My roomate, ssg whycoff is also my smoking buddy, hes a huge! clint eastwood fan, and his birthday is coming up! How sweet would it be to get a bundle of old fashioned stogies like his hero the high plains drifter. Please send your thoughts brothers

HA! Marsh Wheeling, there used to be a factory in wheeling, wv.

So funny because i had this braniac idea to start smoking cigars with my grandpa back when i was about 19. He had mentioned that he used to smoke marsh wheelings. SO i went out and bought a whole box for us to share. probabloy cost me like 20 bucks back then.

anyhow, we smoked em all right. it wasnt' easy either. but they are indeed very rustic looking.

Nice gift by the way. good thinking

If he is a cigar smoker the LFD Cheroot would be an awesome gift. If not, they would probably turn him green. I believe JR has the Marsh Wheeling.

the cheroot is for a seasoned smoker only!!! plus you can probably get 5-10 of the others for the price of one cheroot! that being said, the cheroot is one badass stick!

The marsh wheeling olde style looks dead on, and I am looking to get a bundle, cause im sure he will be smoking them all the time, so the price is good . However if they are a horrible smoke that wouldnt do him much good. Im going to look into the cheroots, being too strong is not gonna scare him off from looking like a hoss lol. and those "terrible backwoods" we have smoked our fair share of those out here :halfgrinwand Im not ashamed to say I dont mind them. Thanks again

If he is not a regular smoker or can handle the full strength stuff the Cheroots will take his head off. Those are all ligero leaf so they are as full strength as they come.

If you want the real deal, Mr. Eastwood smoked Toscono cigars while he was making his "spaghetti westerns" in Italy.

I think that I've had these and they're not a bad smoke. My Dad brought me some back from a trip to Italy in 2000, and I remember thinking how rustic and "cherooty" they looked. Smoked them all that summer on my back porch in the evenings.

Funny, I'm a Clint Eastwood fan, but I never connected these to the cigars he smoked when he was making those Italian westerns.
