We used to do this every year with the trimmings/dead fall from my buddy's Christmas tree farm. The fire department always gave us the burning permit for a 20'x20'x20' pile, but every year someone would call the cops and they'd show up with fire trucks. Nothing like flames shooting higher than the treeline! 👍😆

I've only have the fire department here 3 times and the cops 4. Last time was from an oxygen tank that somehow got heated up from a fire and somehow a stray bullet shot it. Lets put it this way, I'm 2 miles from the police station and they felt it. Thankfully they believed my "it was tannerite" story...
Funny thing was the cop that came knew me and said next time to call him and he'd come shoot with us!
