So tonight I have set aside a Viaje Farmer Bill (gotta kill the turkey first) and a Viaje Stuffed Turkey Dark Meat for tomorrow. It got me thinking, how many of you enjoy holiday themed cigars? How many of you think its too gimmicky and pass on them?

We have various Candelas such as Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan for St. Patrick's Day, CAO America (and many others) for patriotic holidays, Tat Monsters or Viaje Full Moon for Halloween, Viaje Holiday Blend or Candy Cane for Christmas. I'm sure this group could name many others.

I do find myself usually reaching for a holiday themed cigar. To me its something small that adds a bit more enjoyment to a holiday.

So, what say you BOTL?

My only problem is that out of all the cigars you listed, the only one I have any interest in smoking is the Tatuaje monster release, and even those are hit or miss.

I'd rather smoke something I know will be good. I do smoke a Cuban every year on Independance Day, for whatever that's worth... lol

I smoke all the holiday themed cigars I can get. I smoke Las Calaveras on Memorial Day, a CAO Bottle Rocket and/or Viaje Roman Candle on 4th of July, Viaje Stuffed Turkey, or Viaje Farmer Bill on Thanksgiving, Monsters on Halloween, and CAO also has LE's that they make for Christmas.

Whether or not they're good smokes, I smoke them anyway, though I won't be smoking another Bottle Rocket, as that thing was horrendous.

It's all fun....some get with the Spirit of the Holidays by celebrating almost anything...just like egg nog....who drinks this stuff any other time of the year? I tend to go with cigars I know that I like but if you love to celebrate the Holidays with whatever it is that's out there...it's just celebrating and that can't be a bad thing.

I'd like either Tatuaje or RoMa to create a deadly strong holiday cigar with the theme "Hi Dumbass! Had a kid in your 40's huh? This is the only one you'll have time for during the holiday weekend, so make it count!".

I picked up 2 from Quesada this year. The keg for St. Pats day & Oktoberfest for our annual fall party. The keg was outstanding, could smoke them any day. The oktoberfests are really meant to be paired with the beer imo, which makes them more situational. Will likely only get a fiver next year of the oktoberfests.
