  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

homebrewers, chime in on recipe ideas

I want to brew later this week or next, I have a couple pounds of wheat grain on hand but will need to run and get some base malt for sure. From a hop standpoint, here's what I've got in the freezer:

Magnum
Hallertau
Columbus
Centennial
Chinook
Amarillo
Warrior (1/2 oz)
Sterling (1/2 oz)
Saaz

Any ale/IPA or wheat recipes that you all have handy or can come up with?

Thanks for your ideas!

If you go IPA you can do what is touted as a Bells two hearted clone since you have centennial. This is in the near future once my AC compressor is replaced.

Yes, all grain.

I settled on an Oberon clone (in the process of harvesting yeast from the bottles now) and I'm also going to do a pale ale that Jamil from Brewing Network came up with.

I like that Bell's and might keep that in mind for next time.
