Hot dog eating contest

Every 4th of July Nathans sponsors a hot dog eating contest at Coney Island. Joey Chesnut is the king. This year he broke the record eating 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. Now that is an impressive masticatory feat.

I used to go to the Nugget Rib Cookoff in Reno every year and one year they had a rib eating contest with all of these Major League Eater guys. Joey chestnut was there, as well as that younger Asian kid (can't remember his name) and a few others. Watching them force that food down in such a short period time was one of the most disgusting things I ever witnessed lol.

They devote an hour of programming on ESPN to this thing every year. Never knew you could talk about a 10 minute event like this for so long.
