  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Pa,
Ive spent the last month running around crazy trying to get my house ready to sell. I finally finished the new floors, carpet, cleaning, painting and decluttering. Tomorrow the pictures will be taken and a sign will go up. Now its a waiting game. Its been a long month, just needed to vent while I enjoyed a cigar. Thanks for listen.

" House for sale"

I'll trade you: 2 boxes of T52s, a box of Flying Pigs, some misc Opus Xs, a 10'er of Cubans, and a Skull and Bones cap.

Oh, wait, this isn't a WTT thread. Darn.

Good luck on the sale Bro. I'm still trying to recover from a move (from MN to SC) 2 years ago, it will take me another year at least to recover (Housing market sucks)

Pa,
Good luck man, I hope you can sell it quick.

That's awesome. Mine would say Association instead of neighbor but I think that sign is counter intuitive.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys.

Good luck with the sale, my house has devalued close to 150K in less than 3 years. I'm hoping that when I plan to sell in 5 years it will climb back up.

I can't complain when I hear that. That stinks.
Well I'm still about 100K ahead of what I've invested. Fortunately when I jumped on this roller coaster it was in one of it's valleys. Long Island sucks!

I sold my built in 05' two story last Nov for aprox. 80k less in CASH then I paid 4 it. Fully landscaped, full basement(16ft bar) the works. Not only did it sell at 229k (from the 300k I paid.) but my appraisal came in at 216k so I had to bring another 13k in cash to closing or the buyer was walking. My advice pay for a appraisal right now and find out what it appraised for. And second DO NOT TAKE THE ADVICE OF A BROKER AS THE FINAL WORD! The don't have the market down in all areas like they think they do! Good luck and maybe your home will sell for full price and in less then a week!

Pa,
Thanks for the advice. I'm going to check into it this week. I can't afford something like that at the last minute.
