How do you partake?

So, those of you lucky enough to get some Stagg (or Eagle Rare, insert your preference here), how do you drink it? Neat, rocks, cut with water (if so how much?), up, lowball, etc. What is your routine?

Lowball glass with 2 fingers and 1 or two ice cubes!

Lowball >> 2-3 fingers of Blantons >> 1-2 ice cubes >> repeat

Rocks glass, usually neat. Sometimes I'll throw in an ice cube. Not much of a fan of ice in drinks, but Stagg is pretty strong without it!

the stagg is a lot higher proof, 140ish, so might require a splash of water too.

Neat, no ice with a splash of water to cut it a bit. Now to find an affordable bottle!

Depends on what I am smoking...something hard and heavy (lotta Ligero) then I will straight-up, sometimes I like ice, sometimes a splash

Last time I did that it involved absinthe at a costume party...not the best idea I've had.

I have my favorite "rocks" glass, which is almost square in shape. A couple or three fingers of 1792, Woodford's, or Zaya, and an ice cube or two and I'm there. I like my spirits cooled off and cut just a little.

Usually neat but if it's not the best of boozes then maybe a cube or 2...

Glass, two fingers of the nectar. Sometimes a few drops (3-5) of water to open up the flavor a bit.

The only variation is the glass - Scotch glass, double old-fashioned, snifter - depending on the spirit of choice.

sometimes a drop or two of water in anything > 65% abv
