Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
There it is right there. If its a great cigar, nub it.. If it sucks, toss it and get a new one!!!
Same here, the cigar gets too hot and bitter when you smoke it that far down. I quit around 2" to 1".I voted "just to the band", however I usually don't even smoke quite that far. I find that even with good purging that a cigar usually gets bitter, hot, and also forms quite a bit of buildup by the time I hit the 2/3 mark or so. I will nub if these qualities don't present themselves...otherwise it's usually 2/3. I'm particularly sensitive to bitter and tannic flavors.
:thumbsup:Can not answer with those answers. I smoke the stick till it turns south or I grow tired of smoking it. Could be to the nub or half way through.
