I had my first cigar at 18, and have been smoking on and off since then. That puts me in the 5+ year category.

About 10 years or so...

I started smoking them when I left college. I'd pick up 2-3 per week, there was a decent cigar shop near Sundance Square, and smoke them at the Flying Saucer downtown while enjoying a few pints.

I didn't start keeping any at home until a couple of years ago, got my first 'real' humidor this past spring for my birthday.

off and on since 71 when I was 18 in the nam. Captain used to get care pkgs from all over the world (hint read Islands!) and share them!

A mk-82, a stogie, a TiLoc, and a hooch! the a lot more mk-82's and some long hours. :crosseyed
