How many years have you been smoking cigars?

For me, started in 1993 during bird hunting. My friend had backwoods, Next trip went to this strange place called a Humidor, hooked ever since....lol

Backwoods was my first cigar too. I have not had one in a very long time. LOL I wonder what I would think they taste like now?

Started seriously smoking around 2004. Plenty of cigars here and there before then. Went through a period of hanging out a the local cigar bar around 98-99. So really, I could have gone with the 10-whatever option, but stuck with 6-10.

I started smoking the "expensive" cigars at the gas station off and on about 18 years ago. Finally had a real cigar about 18 months ago! So I voted 1-2 years.

In college I smoked alot of philly blunts and black and Milds. Then at my bachelors party a friend brought some hand rolled cigars and that's when it started. I got my first humi weeks later and then my second months later. That was in 2007.

It wasn't until the beginning of this year that I started buying boxes and this hobby started spiraling out of control.

I voted 1-2, as it has been a bit more than 2 serious, but just like a lot of others in the category, I have been occasional for just over 6. I bought my first sampler pack back in 2003 from Cuban Crafters...I can still remember that first smoke that got me hooked on finding a good cigar: Cuban Crafters Camaroon. I know they are not your "ultra-premium" or anything, but I have been in search of flavor ever since.
