Want to try out a new HdM, being a fan of the Double Corona. Any recommendations between the two Churchill or Epi2? I tried the well reviewed Des Dieux, but was unimpressed. WHich of the two would be closer to the DC?

I've never had the DC, but I'd pick the Epicure #2 just based on my preferences. My attention span doesn't hold very well for DC/Churchill cigars.

Dave, did the Des Dieux have a little age? They take about five years to come around. Although not my personal preference for a Robusto, the Epi #2 is a fine smoke. The Churchill is a bit on the mild side. It is also quite good, but again, it depends upon your personal preference.

I think they are both good, as Fox said, the Churchill is on the mild side as is the DC you liked. I do believe the DC has more character than the Churchill.
The Epi has a little more kick with some complexity.
I'd try both.......................that's the fun of it.
