This entire thread is dangerous. What happened to the Strang group buy? I totally forgot about it...

Mr. Motzek doesn't offer bulk discounting. A brother on another site who lives in Germany knew what I was trying to do and offered to help me out with a small amount, but I think you could order it from him the same way I'm ordering the HU. Western Union. 6 dollar fee sucks, but if you are buying a couple hundred grams then it isn't the end of the world.

Boutique pipe tobacco is out there, but they don't do the same kind of advertising the cigar guys do from what I've seen.

IMHO strang is worth the chase. But I think the same of the Esoterica blends I've had the opportunity to smoke. Doesn't mean that there isn't great stuff available for less money and investment of time, but I look at it like I do cigars. If I want to have the experience, I can justify the money. I wouldn't smoke it all every day, but I can jar it and enjoy it over a longer period of time than I can with a rare cigar I paid 20-40 bucks for... YMMV.

As for what I'm chasing, the HU blends are what I'm after. And an OG tin of three nuns original blend. I'd like some pelican as well. Gotten close to snagging a tin a few times but there was always something else I wanted more.

Russ622 just blended up an English for his shop called Cyclops I want to try also... Ha ha.

So Hans of HU accepts a certain common form of payment... Not a difficult process to navigate at all. Make your order in his site. Send an email because it won't process the right shipping. Hans sends you an updated invoice including shipping and without VAT, and then you can send payment. I added a tin of Scotney to my order. I know that just came out and hasn't been added to his store yet. 6 tins, 5 50g one was 100g, and shipping was about €18.
