Humidity Media Containers?

Ran across these on American science surplus website and thought they might make a nifty little container for beads or litter. 30 for $10. So I figured I would share in case anyone was interested.

I wonder how much each holds? I suck at math so someone smarter than I will need to figure this out.

Zmilin, they are two Inch wide and one inch deep. So I'd say nearly two square Inch worth of beads? I am curious as to how to close them, ventilation style

That's a great deal, but personally I always found round humidifiers kill storage space in my humidors. Whoever here came up with the idea of using an old cigar coffin and a 1" x 6" piece of needlepoint backing as a lid for a beed container is a fucking genius.

Stogieninja is who turned me onto the coffin concept...

Looks great.. works great.. brings the added benefit of bringing more SC to the humidor.. and.. theyre free (save them as you smoke cigars that come in them)..

Hard to beat coffins and needlepoint backing...
