hello there i have a small wood dresser that i was thinking of using for a humidor. The unit is made out of pine wood and has a good seal on the front door. would i be able to use that for a humidor. if so what would i need to do to make the transformation complete?
I have heard that if you line it with spanish cedar you should be good to for wood. i dont know if thats true or not and was wondering if it was. the unit has about 3/4th pine wood construction thru out the container.

I know for a build you need spanish cedar a hydrometer, humidifer and of coarse a wood container which would be lined with the spanish cedar. I have all of those things but the cedar. would i be able to go ahead with this project or do i need to start from scratch?

Looks a bit narrow and shallow to for boxes.

Judging by the door's build I don't see how it could have a good seal. Try sticking a flashlight inside, turning off the lights in the room and, seeing if you can see light coming from the box. If so, the seal isn't good.
