Has anyone tried the hygra humidifier? I have a cigar oasis in my 100 count and it works great. But the hygra is cheaper and has the option to add more fans. This would be useful when I upgrade to a full size cabinet. I'm about to buy another humidifier and I have to decide which one to get.

I might get a hygra since my CO is getting old and you can hook up extra fans to the hygra.

I believe it's "Hydra" and based on reviews i've read, they preliminary say the Hydra is better. It might be overkill in a 100ct but if you get a much larger unit, then the Hydra might be the better choice with the extra fan option and calibration feature.

Maybe after the holidays when I get some more money I might put one in my 76qt cooler. The summers can be bad in NJ, and we don't have central air.

Damn, that thing does look bad-ass. The price is very good as well.

I would consider this for my wine cooler; 3.5 cubic feet worth of space, but not a 100ct desktop. An Oasis or Hydra may take up half the space and is overkill for that size humidor.

I think I'm going to have to buy two for my coolers.

We should get a group buy going.

I helped test the prototype when the Hydra unit was being developed. I am very impressed with the final version. The ability to add on circulation fans is great and the hygrometer built into the unit can be calibrated making it easier to keep the rh right.

I am impressed with the unit.

Never heard of that unit before, but I just read about in on your site and it looks DAMN nice! Lots of options and a great price. I'd have gotten that over my CO if I'd known about it (not sure when the Hygra came out, I got my CO a few years back.)
