Hygrometer Display Issue

I searched a bit, and couldn't find exactly what I am looking for.

Two of my three adjustable, digital hygrometers are having display issues. When I look straight on at them, it's blank. But if I tilt them a bit, I can see the numbers. Is this merely a low battery issue? Or is there some other issue?

I would bet low battery

Could be the contact with the battery. You could try bending the prong that holds the battery in place/applies pressure.

had this very same problem couple months back. Swapped out the battery, problem solved.

I don't know if you have to, but I used a boveda pack and it was still reading correctly so it may not be necessary, but ain't going to hurt either
