BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I love and hate CigarBid they are the Devils own.
I love them because I've gotten great deals on Cigars and bought Cigars that I never could have afforded.
I hate them because I've spent way too much and it's a process learning to Bid and not overspend.

If you like the Undercrown try the Drew Estate Nica Rustica they have a Connecticut Maduro Wrapper not a huge discount from regular price but at around $4.00 a piece for a 5 pack on cbid they are well worth it.

yea, the Punch bobblehead. I generally don't go any higher then the lowest minimum bid so I get beat out a lot. I did get Boveda 65s for a great price and a box of Padron 2000 for what I thought was a good deal but don't go telling everybody or we'll never win anything.

I have several buddies that have walk ins full of mediocre -> garbage smokes cause they were trying to "save money"... :/
They'll never smoke them all. They could have spent less on fewer good smokes...
I'm loving cbid right now atm. They got me hahahaha. I personally try to average 2-3 dollars a stick. Anything around $1 is a blessing. $4 is my Max

I placed an order on Cigarbid recently. I bid, won and paid. They have not shipped it. They have not responded to my requests for information on the status of my order. If there is any problem, there is no way I can contact them. It appears the prices are great on this site, but when you go over the taxes, shipping fees and lousy customer service it makes you want to stop smoking cigars. I suspect I will cut back for sure as nothing is worth this kind or disrespect and aggravation. Calls are always on hold for 30 minutes or more and only once did someone pick up before I was disconnected.
Welcome to the forum. You are unhappy with Cbid, not that unusual, I'm just surprised that a disappointing experience with a vendor makes you want to quit smoking cigars I know they sometimes sell stuff that is out of stock and your entire order gets held up a bit but they will eventually make it right. It is spring so I am sure customer service is swamped. Popular cigars never seem to be a bargain, taxes are pretty consistent among all vendors and if you learn the ins and outs of their shipping policy you can save a few bucks, Hint the difference between winning a 10 pack of fuel and winning 10 single canisters of fuel is 9 additional $1 shipping charges
