Just Another Ashhole
Golf is such a great game in that it's the only game you play against yourself...even though you may play with partners or a 4 some. I remember when I first broke 80 it was at Troon North in Scottsdale...a perfect day of golf in the early morning hours of June. This course if you've never played it....put it on your Golf Bucket List...it's one of the best courses I've ever played and I've played many...Boulders, TPC Scottsdale...Pebble...Torrey Pines...many many...this course for some reason just exemplifies what golf is all about. It's not 'target golf' by any means but if you have an errant shot in the desert...lost ball for sure. The greens are unreal...like putting on velvet and it's about the truest putts you'll ever have. I shot a 77 here and remember it like it was yesterday...only that yesterday was in 1986.
