I got some more C&D mold

I went to have a bowl of bourbon bleu today that I have had in a jar for a few months and have had several bowls of and found a batch of white fuzzy mold. So I go and open up the other tin of it that was still sealed an it to had mold on it. I just want to let anyone know who has some check it out before you smoke it.

The only way to remedy that is to burn it off. Usually in a briar smoking device....

C & D has a real problem with this. For as much as we pay for their products this is unacceptable.

I sent them a email about it. This time around I'm not excepting replacement tins cause these were tins they sent me for replacements for the Carolina red tins.

You should expect replacement tins as this product is moldy as well!

Hmm, this has not been my experience with C&D. I would expect replacement tins from them. If you have photo evidence, or send evidence back to them, I'd do so.

The rare occasion, I have had issues with, they replace/refund no questions asked. Only time this has happened was bijou & the small batch red carolina

I will take a refund, I'm not taking any more baccy from them. This will make almost 10 tins of there's I have had mold in so I'm done with them.

I'm smoking whatever I have left from them and being really cautious with their tobaccos from now on IF I do decide to purchase more of it. But right now, it's a big nope.

What can you do though? I have a ton of GL Pease and C&D tins that may be molding as we speak. When I finally get to popping them, are they going to reimburse me? There is no way I can jar all of it. They need to get their damn act together.

Anyone heard of or seen problems with the King Cake? Wanting to grab a few tins but I have too much jarred now. Don't want to sit on tins for years just to find mold when I pop them open.
