Tobacco seed (all sorts of types, I got cigar/Havana strains) available at New Hope Seed, Seedman, Virtual Seed and other Internet places.

Growing in Miracle-Gro potting soil, a couple of years old (re-using it) and re-fertilized with some Osmocote fertilizer pellets to replace whatever last year's baccy crop sucked out of the soil.

The things grow FAST, I'm growing 6 plants each of 6 different strains (36 plants total, about as much as I can handle/process).

Like full sun & watered well. Need to watch/spray for caterpillars, apparently the high nicotine of raw leaf doesn't faze them.

Every cigar nut ought to have at least ONE plant. It's fun just having them.

Where/how you plan on drying, storing and for how long? Do you know a roller or are you planning on doing it? It would be cool to be able to do it all the way to the smoking all by yourself.
