HU travel humidor. Sticks look like it has mold on the foot, he says plume. What's your consensus?

real plume looks like this... equally distributed usually doesn't rub off easily. alot of times it looks like you took a cigar and smacked a stripper with it cause it is sparkly

Looks like mold to me. Plume usually does not hit the foot of a cigar and is not hairy like mold. Plume looks more crystalline. Nice case though,
