Ibn Ali

I had an interesting evening. I went to see Muhammad Ali's nephew Ibn (pronounced eebin) box. He's a cruiserweight and quite a fighter. Not that I know about boxing, but he kicked his opponents ass. From time to time during the match you'd get a glimpse of him and he looked eerily like his uncle up there.

I also watched about 6 other fights. I've never been into this sport but it was pretty cool to be right there.

His daughter Laila Ali is the current WBA and WIBA middleweight champion ( 5"10" - 166 lbs, 24-0, 21 knockouts).
She could probably kick my ass.

Believe it or not, the Best Western in Winchester. Ali's manager goes to church with one of my sub-contractors and the sub gave me tickets. Ali apparently lives in Inwood WV now.

Cool! Todd and I used to go to the "Friday Night Fights" at the Palace of Auburnhills. Free tickets were given out by Metro 25 Tire. Todd and his friends took binoculars for checking out the "Round" girls. The fights were pretty good too!

Yeah, the "round" girls were hot! This room was so small I didn't need binoc's, but had I not been there with a date......I may have followed them back to Diva's, the "gentlemen's club" where they were apparently going to be showing it all. Not that there was much left to the imagination as it was.

That would explain why I saw him on a local news channel last week. It was in the teacher's lounge and the sound was down so I wasn't aware it was a promotion for a local fight.
