  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I was rooting for the Pack, but they were definitely not the best team today. The Giants played well on both sides of the ball - especially in the second half. I hope they can do better against the Pats than their previous Monday nite game.

Well after settling down after Farve INT in OT,in my demise, I have concluded that the Giants did play the best game today. If the Giants play as well against the Pats as they did today, it's going to be one hell of a game. Really don't know who I am going cheer for yet.

i was very dissapointed with the pack i saw the win they just didnt perform well in the second half. if they could have moved the ball it would have been a much different story. after setteling down i calmed my nerves with a CAO Gold not bad i shouldnt have had a CAO Black last night kinda overshadows this one. but what can you do. i will be cheering for the Giants because it makes the packers look better and i dont want the Pats to have a perfect season.

This makes my super bowl easier. I would have had trouble deciding between Favre or Brady+perfect season.

Now I want to see 19-0.

I hope #4 comes back next year. If the Pack draft a good RB, with the age (except Favre) and experience of the team, they can make a run next year.

Really? The Giants pretty much owned the Packers in every respect of the game. I think its time to give the Giants a little credit. And by no means am I trying to rub this in as a Giants fan, but it is the truth.

Also, It was probably the worst officiated game i've ever witnessed. Too many penatlys againts the giants in huge spots. bullshit holding/taunting etc... that reversed first downs, a called back touch down..

Really without those, and a lucky bomb by farve where Driver threw down the defender, it wouldn't have been a game.

As a fan of NEITHER team, this is a true assesment. Packers were terrible and Plaxico Burris made a fool of the Packers secondary.
I don't see the Giants having much of a chance against the Patriots with their decimated secondary and the fact that the Pats didn't play well at all and still managed to be a pretty potent offense.

The Giants dominated and forced Farve into making bad decisions. Exciting game, and I feel bad for Farve, but you gotta take your hat off to the G-Men.

That goes both ways, there were absolutely pathetic calls against the Packers as well.

+1, of course if Green Bay was in the SB, then duh, I'd be rooting for them, but seeing as they're not, I hope the Pats totally dominate the game, I'm hoping for a shutout. I'm so fucking pissed right now at the loss yesterday I hope the Giants just get embarrassed in the Super Bowl. And yes, I know I shouldn't hold anything against the Giants as they out played the Packers on all three sides of the ball, but I do.

I'm pissed at Favre for throwing the game ending pick.

My favorite commercial is the Coors Light one where all those guys complain about their Jimmy Johnson wigs and he laughs at them.

I truly thought the Giants had a chance to win the game, but I never figured they would dominate in such a convincing fashion. There are two things that concern me about the SB.

1. Pats have two weeks to prepare their game plan. I know the Giants do also, but I think the Pats staff is outstanding at developing a game plan.

2. Giants kicking game. Tynes may have kicked the winning FG, and the snap was awful on one of the misses, but he still concerns me.

As a Steelers fan, I don't really have a rooting interest in the SB, but I'm rooting for the Giants. I just can't pull for the Pats to go undefeated. Plus I live in the area now, so I hope the Giants win!
