Ice Fishing

Brought the Grandson out for some panfishing on Saturday. Caught 5 keepers while he sat on my lap.

Not much time left in the ice fishing season for this year though. Ice shacks need to be off the lakes by Tuesday down here. I think you’ve got until the 19th up by you.

We were on East Rush and they were pulling them off on Saturday like crazy but still lots on the ice. Still over 30" of ice.

We were after Sunfish mostly but did get a keeper Crappie. We went home with 25 Sunfish so it will be fish tacos and fried fish the next few nights. I like to eat my fish as fresh as I can and hate freezing them. If my wife would have tried a little harder it could have been more Too much BSing with the SIL.
