  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

classic simple shape, and nothing ostentatious to give away the pedigree, if any. any better pics? markings on the stem, the shank between the bowl and the stem? any info about where the pipe came from, how you came about it?

The underside has the number160 pressed in it. Other than that it's a mystery. I found it renovating a house, in a plastic bag. I don't smoke a pipe nor do I have the desire to start. I'm giving it away because I don't know what it's worth if anything. Hopefully some new pipe smoker would like and enjoy having it..

Looks like it could be an older Peterson. 160 seems to correspond with their bent billiard shape. They usually mark their pipes pretty well but if it's been buffed to hard in the past it could have taken off the hallmark.... Just a guess though.
