  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'll miss my new friend....

Nice! Thoughts? I haven't had the pleasure yet but I hear they're pretty much spectacular across the board.

Thoughts?

Let's see.. Let me preface this by saying that I'm still a "noob" when it comes to strength of cigars.

My first impression of the black was, "Where's the pepper and spice" ??

I found it to be a very mellow stick in terms of flavor. The first third was really smooth and creamy. The second third turned to more of that "earthy" tobacco flavor, with the creaminess mellowing out quite a bit, almost non-existent. the final third, I finally got some of that pepper spice I had been looking for. It never got too harsh, even at the nub. Very smooth smoke throughout. I was definitely impressed! I even got a mild buzz towards the end, which was commented by one of our Canadian brethren " You don't smoke too much do ya??" I'd recommend getting your hands on one of these if given the opportunity!

Was his last name guts and his first name gibble? And I'm suprised he didn't say "eh?" at the end.
