Good morning. I'm a seasoned codger in Illinois with over forty years in the health care industry. I'm not happy about that, but its an important fact. I operate a licensed pharmacy BUT I don't sell all the common commercial drugs. In fact, my motto has long been, "Too Many People Take Too Many Drugs". I smoke cigars because I enjoy them and I can afford them. I have not been able to determine for certain that properly smoking a cigar damages health. On the contrary, when done well, cigar smoking can improve health.
Why "two states in one"? The northern part seems to be closely affiliated with the extreme far left while the central and southern parts are clearly solid middle America - with more conservative values. I live near the center of Illinois Socialist thought, but make every effort to get away as much as I can.
