  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'm caddying at the U.S Amateur Championships this weeken

Just got assigned my player - Tommy McDonagh from Wilton, Connecticut.
won the 2006 CT State Amateur

Seems to be about the same age as my oldest son.
This should be an experience (and fun) - I'll be inside the ropes at The Olympic Club in San Francisco

That is sooooo cool! Very cool to get inside the ropes and get a players perspective on things. I was a Marshall at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straights in 2004, and the 2007 US Senior Open as well, very fun stuff too.

I had 2 buddies working at those tourneys, Tim Whorton & Jay Gromek they were in transportation. If you meet these two you'd remember them.

A player from our club was in the 2007 US Senior Open, Alan Phillips he missed the cut by 1 shot.

Someday I'd like to play in a PGA event but working one is probably the only way I'll get inside the ropes and I've not done that yet.
