Hey Chief. Sorry to hear, man. Being a military spouse is definitely not for everyone, and I know firsthand just how tough it can be to maintain a realtionship or marriage. I'm going to Riley for about four months on my own, then off to Afghanistan in March. This will be the third time we've been separated for an extended period, and the first two came pretty close to breaking the deal for us. This time, I think we may have it right, but one never really can tell. It sounds like you guys are handling things okay, so kudos to both of you. If you would like a bit of sage advice from a crusty old NCO who has been around this block once or twice, PM me. I may be able to save you a little heartache around the next corner.
