I really start thinking when it gets early. I just downloaded this Cigar Suitcase thing and was wondering if anyone else has. It would be nice to have a buddy to figure this thing out with me. I'm still debating whether it's any good or not.

I've downloaded the Cigar Briefcase if that's what you're talking about. It seems time consuming to set up...but easy to manage once you get going. It's even easier if you boxes at a time...then just make 25 of the same entries. But it is awfully time consuming and if anything ever happens to your hard drive you lose all your records. I have it, but haven't loaded anything on it yet. I have a notebook that I leave with my collection. It has my entire inventory, worth of the inventory, tasting notes and selection ideas. So I just prefer to use that because it's easier. But if you have any questions on Cigar Briefcase (if that's what you mean by suitcase) then let me know. I tinkered with it and got the hang of it relatively quick.

This would take too much time for me. Hell I used to keep an excel sheet of what I smoked. That didn't last too long.

I use cigar briefcase and yes it was a pain to set up originally, but it's not that bad once you've got it going. I'd keep a notebook, but I have a laptop for a reason, I figure I should put it to good use. BigO if you need any help shoot me a PM

You should practice with it. Just use fake inventory additions. Just add an Ashton VSG or something...give it a price, a description/tasting note and then add it to your humidor. You'll see your humidor count go up by 1.

I think someone else once said they save the bands and glue them in a notebook.

I use my bands in picture frames though. This would also not work for cabinet cigars.
