  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

You really have to time the windmill right or you get penalty strokes. The last "hole" is a personal favorite.

Great.

Your starting the "headgames" a little soon, aren't you?

Trust me, i'm definitly not talking smack for my brother; just relaying what he's been telling me. He's the epitomy of the phrase "Bird to turd" A triple is always just one swing away with him. He's good for at least one explosion.

Funny story...he was playing over at Nemacolin in PA and low and behold, Pete Dye was on site that day having a look before the 84 Lumber Classic. Pete walks up to the group on the tee box and asks how everyone is doing...big bro eagerly chimes in that he just birdied the previous hole. He's first off the tee and proceeds to dribble it into the rough about 40 yards ahead...Bird to Turd...in front of PB Dye no less.

I agree. Nice place all around. Love it. Can't wait to get back. last time a 3 day weekend felt like an eternity. You should try the shooting academy. i think it's like a 100 station trap range. The off road hummer drive is fun too.

Nemacolin...a rare find indeed.

I was invited to go with a member on a business trip. I had to look it up. Wow. 84 Lumber, waterfalls. The guy put some bucks into it.

A ton of quality courses within 30 minutes of me, most of the ones I would consider "top notch" are in or around Williamsburg, here is link to a few of them(if you've got the cash, or find online deals) near the top of my list http://www2.cybergolf.com/sites/courses/layout9.asp?id=363&page=32993

Most of these(except RNK) are under 7000 yards from the tips, but don't let that fool you. We played Royal New Kent last year, it's rated somewhere in the top 10-20 of hardest courses in the US, and boy was it.
