Tucked away down a long corridor in the King of Prussia Mall (King of Prussia, PA) is International Tobacco; a cigar shop at an ideal location with a walk-in humidor and a soda/coffee bar.
International Tobacco didn't have the biggest walk-in -- or the widest selection of smokes -- but the prices were great. For example, they were charging $26 for the Padron 45th and I paid $35 for it at Cigars International.
The cigar shop did lack plush leather seats that I'd become accustomed to, but the bar setting was a nice touch. I paid one dollar and drank countless cups of coffee with my cigars while watching TV. Not a bad way to spend your time at a mall while your girlfriend shops.
The Smokes I Chose:
The always dependable, reliable, complex, smooth and delicious Padron '64.
This was my first Nestor Miranda Dominicano. It was a lightly packed cigar with a quick burn and extremely loose draw. It gave off a sweet, nutty flavor with hints of leather. I think I prefer the original Nestor Miranda, but I'll definitely smoke a couple more of the Dominicanos to be sure.
The last cigar I smoked turned out to be a major disappointment. The Casa Magna Oscuro -- you know that flavor you get from a cigar that's almost to the nub and burning hot? The acrid, bitter flavor? Yeah, from the get-go the Casa Magna Oscuro put off this flavor. It also went out a couple of times and required constant relights. I was not a fan.
I hope you enjoyed my overview of said cigar shop. I intend to do more as I visit them.
