i realize that the leaf has been around for eons. let's just say that it is now going to be "fashionable" to start using it by more of the "popular" brands.

wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers......

I got that same green pepper taste! I on the other hand, didn't dig that flavor at all. It was kind of strange for me, glad you loved it!
Same here. It seemed to me that they tried to mask the general taste of mexican tobacco wrapper with a stronger and sweeter binder/filler combination.

This cigar was talked about quite a bit at IPCPR. Quite frankly, I am not surprised. I think it is a fantastic cigar, and out of the ones that I smoked at the actual show, this one is in my top 3.
What were the other 2 in your top 3 Jere??........just out of curiosity.

The Mi Amor, the Nestor Miranda Art Deco (which I don't have another to properly review....yet) and the La Sirena, which I posted a review on earlier. They are all great...but I think the La Sirena might be the best I smoked at IPCPR.

Amazingly...all three are made by Pepin.

I love love love these cigars. Very "dessert" like to me. I'm currently editing a video interview with the VP discussing this cigar and the use of the mexican wrapper, ill let you know when it's up. I enjoy this cigar. I don't want to smoke a 100% mexican cigar, but this one is a beauty.

I agree. Bought two boxes after trying at Cigar King last Friday.
Holy poop, CW, you gonna leave any for everyone else?

:cbig:

I remember when the original Honduran blend was actually "affordable"...at the rate the "new" blends are going, the NEXT blend will start at over $225 a box.

What's next, the LAdC VSG/ESG??? ( I would suggest XX, but you know how some people get offended if you use THEIR "X"....:agreeclen )

Think about it....(per stick)

LAdC "New" - $4.72 - $5.60

LAdC EE - $5.68 - $7.50

LAdC Mi Amor - $6.04 - $8.00

Don't get me wrong, the sticks are great, but the pricing is getting ridicuolous.

I paid about $6.00 a stick for the boxes of Mi Amor and the EE's. I find that rather reasonable.

Very good stick. Thanks for the review. I usually smoke a few before buying a box but after this review and one at the King, glad I got a few boxes. Very, very happy
