  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I started a new page on the site with coverage of some of the new sticks and interesting stuff from IPCPRA. As I get through them all I will post more, with so much to cover I will probably only add a few a day, but I put my favorites up there for now. Also I will get to the LONG press releases that General Cigar gave me.

Marc,
I am excited to try those Lucas de Meester smokes! They sound like they'll be pretty popular in the next few months!
Also, when referred to in acronym form, I believe it's just IPCPR, not IPCPRA.

Hence some leave it off if they are already referring to the association, but stand alone it should be actually as I.P.C.P.R.A but then again we like to leave out the dots, we have a C4 release event planned for Fall and if you would like to come out it would be awesome, as we have some plans that we could use your expertise with. We are having a meeting tomorrow night to work out some details and hopefully a date, it will be geared for retailers but consumers are welcome, it will be a huge event. I have been working with Lucas everyday to get some details ironed out, by end of week we should have a date hopefully, we want at least a 3 month lead time so we can publicize real good.
On another note, August 9th we have a private tasting for Pinar. It will be small and very quaint but you are welcome to that also, let me know as I have to make sure I get enough cigars for all, they have lines that we will be tasting i believe.

I just was checking on my humidors, especially the one that is not cooled. I found a couple of cigars form the show that should have been in the big humidor, probably would have sat in there for a year or so before I noticed as it is mostly cigars form the show that eventually I will get around to, maybe next year and cigars left over form the 2007 show, but I found two that didn't belong in there that I didn't know about. The Tat new La Riqueza which is a good find and then this one was hiding out on the bottom, didn't even know I had because I forgot to go back and get my samplers from Jose. Cant's wait to smoke this one, before or after my nap this morning. Probably save it of rafter dinner tonight.
