Over the past month I've noticed 4 or 5 individuals who persistently act in ways that I believe are meant to provoke a reaction from the members here. The brotherhood, as I would expect, haven't taken the bait and continue to be polite and patient. I'm not going to mention any names, because I could be completely wrong, but it just seems off to me.

I don't think you can just ban them. There is a possibility that they are just really dense and not a troll. Usually, just ignore them enough and they'll get bored and go away.
I don't really know why it's a thing. Seems like a lot of work for not much of a payoff. Not really even that clever of a prank, but some people get their jollys in weird ways.

Honestly, I have not seen any troll like activity in over 6 months. I've seen a few True Noobs jumping right in to the deep end. Which I applaud. We can't all be Board Savy on Day one.. I don't think I am Board Savy yet. LOL

This is how I see it too. Maybe a little bit of it a couple months ago or so, but that seemed to go away after a short while - the noobs seem alright as of lately, and I think it's great that people are excited about BOTL.
