I was looking out my office window a couple weeks back and saw a convoy of RV's rolling through the city, all with a billboard on the side saying the end of the world is coming. They had a website they were directing you to. I can't remember what it was but I checked it out and it was created by a group of followers that believe this guy's message.

I myself am a fairly conservative Christian, and I take the Bible seriously. That being said, I will unabashedly say that this gentleman is a false prophet. Drob03 is right - Jesus made it very clear that nobody would know the day or the hour of his coming.

That being said, I do believe that we are in the last days leading up to the end times. But I will not set a date. It could be in the next 5 minutes, or it may not be for another 50 years. The clear teaching from the Bible is that we should be ready, having accepted Jesus' payment for our sins. For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

I plan to live forever and this guy is trying to be a buzzkill for my plan. If his last prediction was wrong then so will this one. The bible says nobody knows when the world will end, so unless he is God then I don't have any credibility for him.
