ISO Laphroaig Cairdeas

Laphroaig announced on Facebook today the lucky states where this being made available. From what I have read it looks like this is the first time it has been released in US markets and only 300 cases are coming,

CA, PA, IL, NY, NJ, MN, TX and WA look to be the lucky states.


Looking for a little help from a brother in one of those states. If anyone sees a bottle can you list the price you see it for?

Do you have an upper limit on what you'd pay for it? This way of the supply is limited I'll just grab it. If you don't want it then I'll consume it or find a buyer.

I was in BevMo this evening and they did not get any of this blend. I am going to seek out a couple of places and I'll keep this post updated.

Oh, but I did pick up a couple bottles of The Glenlivit 12 year old Single Malt.

I thought seriously about the Glen Brothers until I just could not come to grips with spending $170 for a bottle.

I checked the PA Liquor Control website. They have it listed for $60 but it is a special order. The nice thing is there is no minimum bottle limit so one is plenty.

$60 is NOT bad at all for a sigle malt. I too am a huge fan of Islay malt.

Yes he just needs to walk in with the product number and they will order the bottles. There is like a $2.50 special order fee they sometimes forget to mention.
