it's vacation time, carribean style!

heading for Belize tomorrow... well, a quaint island off the carribean coast to be exact! nothing but great food, great booze, and great smokes! well, at least i'll have the smokes.

i've been quite sick the past few days. bad case of food poisoning that just tore me up (lost 20 lbs in 4 days). went to the doc today and she said, "no meat, vegi's, or booze for 4-5 days." gatorade and saltine crackers!! woohoo!!

first stop: Cock and Bull restaraunt for some gooood Dallas BBQ. I'll be the one eating a plain baked potato and bread. yeah, right! we'll just see about that!

still, the fishing should be epic as usual!! it's gonna be a very interesting vacation!!

I have a name of a cigar shop along the coast line of Belize. I visited it two yrs ago. i will send name when i get home

oh man, talk about some epic fishing!! yesterday, took a boat out and caught grouper, snapper, baracuda, trigger, spanish makarel, and a few i have no idea what.

today, was the party day. we chartered a catamaran, and six of us went out for a 7 hour tour!! anchored right off the reef and snorkeled, fished, ate lunch (phenominal snapper burritos) and drank lots and lots of rum punch. while fishing, look what i landed...

15 minute fight. 15 pound permit!! medium gear.... totally jazzed!!!

Beautiful!! We spend a week in Mexico every year and have been talking about making Belize a destination soon. Hope to see more pics and a review of your trip. I`m suffering a serious case of vacation envy right about now. ENJOY!!
