Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I remember reading somewhere that a large percentage of cuban cigar output is consumed within the country, but most of that was the cheaper machine made cigars....Not the premiums, most of those are for export.Really? So most premium cuban cigars are sold inside Cuba?
To folks making about $2 a day ... :scratchhe
Nice link. Good reference when you need it.The link below is to a counterfeit gallery from Cigar Aficionado. It lists multiple brands and shows the genuine label and the counterfeit so you can compare. Good pics.
Hope this helps in the future.

I inferred from dpricenator's comment that there was a two tiered system of Habanos, i.e. lower quality sold in Cuba and premium quality for export. Sorry if I read that wrong. As some have mentioned, there is a huge quantity of legitimate cigars sold at the LCDH's to tourists. Havana proper has about 10 LCDH stores. Popluar marcas and vitolas don't sit on shelves for very long, so they move quite frequently. For example, most Cohiba, most Monte can't be found with more than 6 months of age. In general, most boxes have less than 2 years of age.Really? So most premium cuban cigars are sold inside Cuba?
