I'm curious about these as well. Sometime this year I plan on ordering various boxes of machine-mades just to try them out. Some of them might be nice to have around for a quick, cheap taste of Cuba.

If you want a nice taste of Cuba from these, wait 5 years.

I smoked a younger one tonight (~~2 1/2 years) and experienced only toasted tobacco; no twang at all. Somewhat disappointing, but I know what these will become in another 3 or so. Very twangy, very robust, very enjoyable for a $2 smoke.

I wouldn't sit on them-smoke 'em. They are nothing great now, and are not going to age into greatness. But they are a decent smoke, and free!

Great comparison.

I commented on them being worth waiting for if you search for something with twang. To me, when young, these are almost wasteful. I'd rather have a n/c second than these things fresh. But if you're needing a twang fix for a long car ride or something, these work wonders. If you're going to the cigar bar for a meeting with friends; go for the Coro. These will never be a better cigar than a standard h/m Habano.
