I work at a private country club here in MA and a members guest gave me a Jamaican cigar. Unfortunately the wife threw the band out and I cant seem to find out the name of it. It was one of the best cigars I have ever smoked and I was wondering if anyone could help me in locating the name. The only thing I have to go on is that it was medium to mild and the package was in a white cigarette paper twisted at the end and about halfway up the cigar. It was cigar and not a Joint. if anyone has any idea could they please help me. Thanks

Welcome my friend!

:welcome:

Would have been real special if it had been a "Macanudo" from Jamaica!

That's where they were originally made prior to moving to the Dominican Republic.

Good cigar but doesn't even compare to the original Royal Jamaican's, in my opinion!

After Hurricane Gilbert (1988) wrecked the vegas and tobacco barns in Jamaica, operations were transferred to the Dominican Republic. Royal Jamaica is once again doing some work in Jamaica, but this particular line is listed as still being made in La Romana.

This was also when they started making Macanudo in the Dominican Republic.
