Anyone with more knowledge on this, please jump in... but like other brands and bottles, Beam Black is removing the age statement "Aged 8 Years" from its label. From what i understand this allows them to bottle lesser aged barrels in times of shortages.
If any of you who are nerdy mini hoarders/collectors like me, you may want to grab a couple bottles with the age statement on it while you can.
