JR Cigars has an App called Beat the Dealer - they have a daily deal today, where for $49 you get 10 H Upmann Legacy cigars (6x52 Toro) and the cigars come packaged in a heavy duty refurbished wooden cigar mold. Seems like a legit price, considering I paid $50 for the mold that I have which is in nowhere near the condition of these.

I've been trying to beat the dealer for months..I have like ten chips saved up right now, I guess I'll go give it shot. That mold looks pretty tits

Honestly, if you aren't going to use it for rolling your own cigars, probably worth saving your chips still lol. But for the homeroll guys, $49 for 10 cigars and a mold seems like a screaming deal, even if the cigars aren't the best.

Might have to give in and pull the trigger on this one. @BrewinHooligan Any concerns about the mold being refurbished? Think it would still function fine?
Not sure why they would have to "refurbish" a mold and it concerns me if it is actually a functional mold. Most functional molds cost around $100 although I have found deals around $40 before. That being said, if I had the spare cash I would bite.

Hmm.

Here's a shot of the inside:

Not quite sure what to make of it.

I would imagine that the refurbishing is solely to make it look more appealing when being sold as a 'new product'

I can't seem to locate it. is there a link? ... I have one of these mold boxes. These were never molds. they are of solid wood construction not typical in production molds.

When used as a mold, it is out of round and the head doesn't line up.
Altatis made them in a lot of brands.

How can you tell what size
That sold quick. ... If they give some dimensions on it, I will size it to my computer screen and measure it. I have had pretty good guess work that way on the ones I've bought. It seems like all of these are the same size. I have one in a Montecristo White. It's not completely round but it's about a 60 ring.

I scooped it up. Figured it would be close enough. Especially with me not knowing exactly what I want
