  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So i just lit a 11/18 size smoke and it's just as tasty as I remember it being over a month ago smoking with a friend. I haven't read real rave reviews about these cigars but if you like Camachos and you also like maduros this is a cigar for you. I only paid like $150 for the box, so if you can get them per cigar for my price you're golden. I'm not sure if they're worth the normal retail on the other hand. Maybe worth the experience but not a regular occurrence unless they really tickled your pickle. I love them and will pick them up again if I can get a deal on a box like I did the first time.

I'm loving this thing. I'm just over halfway through and it's very tasty. My beverage is some Blackdog Yemen Mocca Sanani with a shot of Grappa per two cups of coffee. Grappa on it's on kills cigar flavor but mixed with coffee it's a good compliment to a full bodied smoke.

Hmm the bottle I have open right now is from Nonino. Grappa just like whiskey has different levels of refinement. Some are aged in sherry wine barrels, and some are aged in port wine barrels giving it a caramel color and the former being clear. This stuff is in your face strong and kind of burns there's no doubt about that.

I just say to get a bottle of what you can get if you can find it. Do a little reading on it and how the kinds characteristically taste to help you decide what kind you like. It's not a taste for everyone. My family is of Italian background so I grew up around it and Sambucca. Let me know what you get and how you like it. Hmm if I could find an acceptable vessel I could sent you some of my open bottle.
