From a sponsor. I'm sick of my Xikar...it is the second one I've had, and it is the second time the spring mechanism has busted on the damn thing. Although the Xikar folks are fairly good at getting you a new one, I think it's time to move on to bigger (and hopefully better) things. Plus I just want to see what the hype is all about.

One of the easiest cutters to get a good, clean, straight cut with.

There really is no "trick" to it nor any sort of learning curve.

I've always used whatever cutter I could find around.

I am thinking about getting a Palio sometime soon though..have heard nothing but good things about it.

Let us know how ya like it Jon.

A fantastic cutter for sure. I can't decide if I like my Palio or SAK better. I think it is a tie

Try the putting your finger in the Palio to test sharpness trick, that one is always fun and can take the curve right off your finger tip clean as a triple cap.

I have both a Palio and a Xikar xi2 bloodred and like them equally. You can always have extra cutters around and variety is good thing to have.

I'm in ... my Xikar is a real POS. The cheap plastic cutters were giving me better results than that Xikar.

Glad to hear it Jon.

I'm thinking about ordering my first Palio tonight, myself. I was going to wait until the new skins came out, but I'm too impatient I think.

Me too! I want the Burl wood finish one. It looks cool! I hope it lives up to its reputation. I have an Elcheapo Mean Sardine made by Xikar. I hope Mark gets 'em in soon!

As soon as the Burl Wood and Carbon Fiber are available I will let you guys know. Palio is working hard to make it a great product out of the gate so the wait will be worth it.
