Just signed the papers...

To get my first house! My parents are helping me buy it, and I'm going to live there and rent it out to my friends and girlfriend. Then after we graduate college I can either stay there (don't really wanna be here too long after college) or sell it (what I'll probably do) or rent it out. It's a really kickass house with a living room and a party/rec room downstairs and a covered patio that they walled off and made into a sunroom (which Scott and I have already declared as the mancave). There's a two-car garage on the side of the house, and attached to that is the third garage/workshop and the sunroom, so cigars will never smell up the house (cause the mancave is separated from the garage by the house). I am so excited right now! As long as the inspection doesn't turn up anything horribly wrong with the house then it's mine! If it wasn't raining so damn hard I'd be smoking a really nice stick right now!

Congratulations bro. There is something nice about putting a hole in a wall and not worrying about losing the security deposit. You'll have to fix it, but on YOUR terms. PS if you haven't got one already get a truck. I think all homeowners should have to prove they own a truck or one is included at closing. Prevents one from borrowing their neighbors truck.
